The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art in Amherst, Massachusetts, is hosting a significant exhibition titled “Entwined Memory: Indigenous Stories of Creation, Places and Community.” Curated by Eleanor Stolzoff from the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, this exhibition features picture books created by Indigenous authors and illustrators from across North America.

Community Events: Pottery Sale and Staged Reading
In response to recent cuts in public broadcasting funding, local ceramic artists are hosting a pop-up pottery sale titled “Pots for Public Broadcasting” on August 16 from 18:00 to 21:00 in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. This event aims to raise funds for local NPR and PBS stations, with all proceeds contributing to preserving access to quality broadcasting. The sale will take place on Railroad Street.

Comedy Night and Cat Video Festival at Images Cinema
