Police Seek Information on Stranger Following Woman in Wolverhampton

A woman was followed to her home in Wolverhampton by an unknown man after both boarded the same bus on July 6, 2023. The incident occurred around 13:30 when the man entered the number 1 bus on Bilston Street shortly after the woman. Upon disembarking, he lingered outside her residence for an extended period before leaving.

This unsettling experience repeated itself the following day, prompting an appeal from the West Midlands Police for information regarding the man’s identity.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

According to West Midlands Police, they have released a photograph of the individual they wish to identify. An official statement from the police stated, “We are appealing for information after a woman was followed home by an unknown man in Wolverhampton.” They are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who was on the bus that day or who regularly uses the service.
