Ministry Implements Air Purifiers in Schools to Combat Pollution
In response to rising air pollution levels in the municipality of Pljevlja, the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation (MPNI) is taking decisive action by procuring air purifiers for local schools. This initiative aims to protect the health of both students and staff amid ongoing environmental concerns.
The ministry has established continuous communication with educational institutions in Pljevlja, ensuring proactive measures are in place. According to MPNI, schools have already begun the process of acquiring air purifiers for classrooms, libraries, and other shared spaces, ensuring a healthier learning environment for all. Funding for these purifiers has been provided by the ministry, reaffirming its commitment to improving conditions within school facilities.
Implementation of Health Guidelines
As educational activities continue, schools will adhere to the recommendations and guidelines set forth by the Institute of Public Health of Montenegro. This structured approach includes ongoing monitoring of the situation on the ground, allowing institutions to adapt swiftly to any changes in air quality.
MPNI officials emphasize their dedication to offering full institutional support to educational facilities. They intend to maintain regular and coordinated communication with all relevant organizations, ensuring that schools can respond effectively to the challenges posed by air pollution.
In their statement, the ministry expressed gratitude to educational institutions for their constructive collaboration and timely actions. They reinforced a shared commitment to prioritizing the health and safety of children and staff members in all decision-making processes.
The procurement of air purifiers is just one aspect of a broader strategy aimed at safeguarding the well-being of students and educators. As air quality issues persist, the ministry’s proactive stance reflects a growing awareness of environmental impacts on health within educational settings. By prioritizing student and staff welfare, MPNI aims to foster a safer and more conducive learning environment in Pljevlja’s schools.
